This is a multi-phase collaborative process that allows us to tailor the Cousin Camp experience to your families interests and values.
We will join you side-by-side to work through nitty-gritty details like securing a location for camp, organizing meals, and preparing activities & supplies. Additionally, our pre-camp coordination includes creating assets for custom invitations, t-shirts and camp merch.

The Cousin Camp Guide is rooted in real-life hosting experience and created with both intention and practical application in mind. I've refined these tools through over 20+ camp experiences, so they are designed to be useful, easy to implement, and thoughtful about the realities of planning for groups of different ages.

Not at all! While the name began with our own family tradition, we’ve grown to welcome children from our local community at camp each year! The concept can work for cousins, siblings, friend groups, extended families, youth groups, neighborhoods, churches, and community organizations.

It depends on the host! Some families create a one-day experience, while others plan a full weekend or multi-day camp. Our signature Cousin Camp is a 4-day, 3-night experience.

While both bring people together, Cousin Camp is more intentional and experience-driven. A traditional family reunion often centers around gathering in the same place and catching up. Cousin Camp adds structure, shared activities, traditions, games, teamwork, and memorable moments designed to help people truly connect across ages. We’ve seen kids light up watching the “serious adults” they know become playful, competitive, creative, and fully present again. There’s something powerful about seeing parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends step back into their childlike nature. And by the end of camp, adults often realize the experience wasn’t just fun for the kids — it was fun for them too.

No. Cousin Camp can happen in many places — a family home, backyard, rented cabin, retreat center, church property, local park, or vacation rental. The experience is less about the location and more about the intention behind it.
